Happy New Year Kirkland!

Here are a few pics from the Polar Plunge at Marina Park today. We lucked out again with no wind or rain. Perfect conditions for jumping into the 47 degree lake, and there was a big crowd there that seemed to agree with me. Some went for a quick dip and others lingered around playing frisbee in waist-high water. Today's proud polar bears earned a patch to show off to all their friends. ~j
First time I've plunged. Great experience and lots of fun. I even got to see myself on the front page of the Seattle Times (2nd Jan). Great momento. I'm glad I read your blog and decided to do this!

It was the first time I took "The Plunge" and I'm pretty sure it was what sobered me up after a long night of fun!! Good Stuff, thanks for talking me into it.
