Polarplunge_013Polarplunge_005  Here are a few pics from the Polar Plunge at Marina Park today. We lucked out again with no wind or rain. Perfect 2008_polar_bear_patchconditions for jumping into the 47 degree lake, and there was a big crowd there that seemed to agree with me.  Some went for a quick dip and others lingered around playing frisbee in Polarplunge_007waist-high water.  Today's proud polar bears earned a patch to show off to all their friends.  ~j

First time I've plunged. Great experience and lots of fun. I even got to see myself on the front page of the Seattle Times (2nd Jan). Great momento. I'm glad I read your blog and decided to do this!

It was the first time I took "The Plunge" and I'm pretty sure it was what sobered me up after a long night of fun!! Good Stuff, thanks for talking me into it.
