Would you care for a spot of tea?

Starting Oct 24, 2013 thru Feb 14, 2014 you'll be able to have afternoon tea in The Heathman Hotel Lobby. I'm really excited about this!  When I've helped organize wedding/baby showers in the past we've always had to go to The Fairmont or The Sorrento in Seattle.  What a great idea for an eastside hotel that you know will treat you right.   This new offering runs Thursday-Sunday from 12-4pm and is $29/adult and $19/child.  Expect to see a line-up of sweets (madeleines, tartlets,  truffles, biscotti), open-faced delights (curry chicken, salmon/cream cheese, veggie cups, deviled eggs), and scones (cherry, apricot, creme fraiche).  There are nine loose leaf teas from Mighty Leaf Tea Company to choose from.  You can also add a glass of Lucien Albrecht Rose for $12/glass.
