Vintimate at Trellis 10/3 (and a new sighting on Kirkland Ave)

Trellis Restaurant’s popular Vintimate series is returning to Kirkland on Oct. 3, combining food, wine, local art and music for one unforgettable evening.

What: The Vintimate series includes premium wine with culinary tastings, engaging art and music presented in a relaxed reception style.

Where: The Heathman Hotel’s Trellis Restaurant, 220 Kirkland Ave

When: Thursday Oct. 3, 2013, 5pm-8pm

 Tickets: $30 inclusive advanced reservations or $35 inclusive at door - includes the food, the first glass of wine and commemorative wine glass. Reservations can be made by 425.284.5858 or you can email events@heathmankirkland.com

 Details:  Executive Chef Brian Scheehser will be serving tastes of Trellis, showcasing a variety of farm-fresh small bites specifically created to complement Northwest Cellars premium wines. Local artist Jeffry Myers will display and discuss his original artwork, and there will also be live music to enjoy.

As I was driving by the Heathman today I noticed a new business on Kirkland Ave......you'll never guess...........salon.  Shocker! It's called Mosaic Salon Group. We must have a lot of hair in this town. Let me know if you get a chance to try it once they are open.

And, yes, Bill the Butcher IS coming to downtown Kirkland. I'm already excited about their housemade paleo jerky and smoked bacon.  Details soon..~j
