Studio East’s 19th Annual Summer Musical is bringing together the Kirkland community for the production of The Wizard of Oz. The 49 person cast includes performers ages 9 – 19 in ensemble and principle roles while featuring Kirkland Mayor Amy Walen as the Mayor of Munchkin Land, and other Kirkland officials and luminaries as her loyal subjects. Playing at the Kirkland Performance Center from July 30 – August 7, this production is a community event for the whole family.

Click your heels together and join Scarecrow, Tin Man, Lion, Dorothy and her little dog Toto, as they journey through the magical land of Oz to meet the Wizard and obtain their hearts’ desires. Watch out for the Wicked Witch of the West and her winged monkeys as you rediscover the real story of Oz in this fantastic musical treat for the entire family.
