What perfect timing for the Nordstrom Rack to be opening in Totem Lake this week.  Because when I'm not baking pumpkin bread (aka:consuming, another problem entirely) I've already switched over to my gray sweaters, dark nail polish and wooly hats.  Why not shop for shelter from the rain and dare-I-say, a little holiday gift giving? Official opening is Oct 26th with the VIP Opening Party a few days prior.  Super excited for this addition to our backyard! Steve perhaps not as much, he may be weary of the dangers this proximity presents for our Nordstrom card.  Tips to the wise, if you happen to have a scooter, Mini Cooper, or Smartcar  (or bus pass?) you are far more likely to be able to navigate this nimble parking lot. Hours are Mon-Sat 10-9 and Sun 11-8.  Happy shopping!

Right next door the Trader Joe's at  12520 Totem Lake Blvd is hot and happening already. 8am-9pm.  If you have kids, don't forget to send them searching for the hidden 'frog' in the store so they can win a prize.  My teenagers still think this is hilarious?!
