Plantiful for the Win

Nestled on the 2nd floor at Kirkland Urban you can now find delicious snacks and meals at Plantiful Superfoods.  This plant-based restaurant just at the top of the stairs by the QFC (next to Evergreens that is not re-opened yet) has toasts, pizzas, burgers, acai bowls, smoothies, and drinks.  Most meals range from $12-14.  My "Rainbowl" was really good with fresh mango, berries, granola (photo).  Steve was curious about the chia pudding in there, which wasn't his favorite texture, but I thought it added interest and unique flavor. The "Plantiful toast" (photo) was excellent- avocado, garlic, radishes, greens, and a sweet spread made this a fun little delight I would definitely go back for.  The space is new and clean with indoor distanced seating and also a few outdoor tables. This locally-owned business has an owner that comes by and says hello and checks in with you too.  Stay tuned, you may even see another location in Seattle soon.

Go support this new concept while doing something good for your body!  Plantiful Superfoods is open from 10-8 every day and will have some 20% off specials to kickoff their official Grand Opening in May.

I love a healthy food option! Thanks for keeping us in the know, Janis. We were at ParkPlace all the time, but have hardly been to Urban (tried Evergreen once, tried the QFC a few times). The area just hasn't seemed inviting and appealing. Hope to give Urban another try sometime soon.
