  • L and L Animal Urgent Care opened in Houghton across from Met Market, and Veterinarian/Owner Stephanie Stoegbauer is focused on helping pets and supporting vets by bridging the gap between general practice and emergency rooms. More on her story here.

Lots of changes - and a few dates to pin in calendar!

Hi Janis, we ate at Arleana's last night. The service was good. The cocktail presentation I saw at neighboring tables looked beautiful. The food was soso, will likely not go back for only this reason. I had the halibut and my husband had the steak. It's also quite pricey:) Lastly, the décor leans on sterile/modern, which isn't my cup of team. It's unfortunate, b/c I am really happy to see a black owned business in Kirkland. Perhaps I would go back and enjoy a drink at the bar before going elsewhere for dinner.
